Week 14 FYP 2

This week is the presentation week. In this week im preparing my self for the presentation and re-touch up my final year project. My accessor for my Final Year Project are Mr.Hisyam Desa and Mrs.Naszariah. The Picture below is my poster for my presentaion on Electronic Stethoscope Using Piezoelectric Sensor.

Week 13 FYP 2

On this week, i focusing on making the poster. For this poster, im using a software called Photoshop CS6. it is good if you know how to use Photoshop. this is because by using Photoshop you can make a poster accordingly to your creativity and the way you want. s

Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems.
Adobe's 2003 "Creative Suite" rebranding led to Adobe Photoshop 8's renaming to Adobe Photoshop CS. Thus, Adobe Photoshop CS6 is the 13th major release of Adobe Photoshop. The CS rebranding also resulted in Adobe offering numerous software packages containing multiple Adobe programs for a reduced price. Adobe Photoshop is released in two editions: Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Photoshop Extended, with the Extended having extra 3D image creation, motion graphics editing, and advanced image analysis features. Adobe Photoshop Extended is included in all of Adobe's Creative Suite offerings except Design Standard, which includes the Adobe Photoshop edition.
Alongside Photoshop and Photoshop Extended, Adobe also publishes Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Lightroom, collectively called "The Adobe Photoshop Family". In 2008, Adobe released Adobe Photoshop Express, a free web-based image editing tool to edit photos directly on blogs and social networking sites. In 2011, a version was released for the Android operating system and the iOS operating system, followed by a release of a version for Windows  in 2013.
Adobe distributes Photoshop in Windows and Macintosh versions.

Week 11 & 12 FYP 2

For this week, i went to the laboratory and connect the Electronic Stethoscope with the Oscilloscope. The result were amazing, due to the surrounding were silent. the waveform produce were very smooth compare last two three week. You can see the result as shown as below;

Week 10 FYP 2

In the week, i manage to complete the circuitry of the electronic stethoscope. besides, i manage to test it to on people.

As you can see the picture above, the person on the right side is placing the transducer which is the Piezoelectric sensor on the left hand side of the patient chest.

Week 9 & 10 FYP 2

This week is a week before the Final Year Project presentation. This week i`m completing my Final year project by placing the circuit in the project enclosure, drill holes for the mono jack, the switch and the control volume.

Week 8 FYP 2

For this week, im concentrating on troubleshoot the faulty of the circuit. The circuit wont work properly.

Week 6 & 7 FYP 2

For this week, im start to soldering the circuit. Constructing the circuit on the breadboard is not good. This is because when you design a circuit on a breadboard. There are possibility that the circuit will not functioning well. The reason are the breadboard are not sure is functioning well.
Second, the component on the breadboard become very sensitive. If you have an experience constructing on the breadboard, im sure enough that you may fell what im having. sometimes when you complete constructing and want to test. the result sometime functioning and sometimes not functioning. it may happen due to pull the cable or accidentally touch the circuit and it become open circuit. its good to test on breadboard. but i suggest that you construct directly on strip board.

Week 5 FYP 2

This week, im having problem with the sensor. The Piezoelectric sensor do receive the input but the input that the sensor detect is to small. When i placed the headphone as the output, the sound of heart which are `lup dup` where heard. But i have to use the amplifier from the speaker to amplify it. The sound produce were to low. It makes the output hard to be heard.

Week 4 FYP 2

For this week, i manage to construct the circuit on breadboard.

Unfortunately, the connection on the breadboard were unstable. If i touched anything on the circuit, the connection become on  and off.

Week 3 FYP 2

Video 1 : Video On how they do the 'Electronic Stethoscope'.

For this week, i found a research on how to build the electronic stethoscope.
An electronic stethoscope is an easy and fun listening device to make. It only requires some basic knowledge of electronics, and can be built with some basic easy to find parts. I have been having a great time using it to crack saf... I mean listen to my heartbeat. Yes! I have been having a great time listening to my inner workings.

Week 2 FYP 2

Picture 1 : Circuit From Week 1 has been constructed.

For this week, i manage to construct the circuit but apparently the circuit couldn't pick up the input and amplify the input.I tried to troubleshoot the circuit and reconstruct whether i there are short circuit or some faulty.

Apparently, i detected that it is because the input from the piezoelectric sensor is to small and need to be amplify. In order to produce the output using earphone and the amplifier from the circuit didn't amplify correctly.

Week 1 FYP 2

Picture 1 : Circuit Diagram
For the first week, i found a circuit that amplify sound receive by the microphone. So for this week, i went to Jalan Pasar to buy the component at Nixie (electronic kit) SDN. BHD.
